Single circuit 220 kV electrical transmission system about 60KM and will deliver power from Pul-Alam Substation located in Pul-e-Alam, Logar to a new substation, Gardez Substation, located in Gardez, Paktiya. The transmission system towers to support two 220 kV transmission circuits.
Single circuit 220 kV electrical transmission system is delivering power from Charikar Substation located in Charikar, Parwan to a new substation, Gul Bahar Substation, located in Gul Bahar, Kapisa. The transmission system towers is supporting two 220 kV transmission circuits.
Single circuit 110 kV electrical transmission system is delivering power from Gul Bahar Substation located in Gul Bahar, Kapisa to a new substation being built by others, Nejrab Substation, located in Nejrab, Kapisa.
(Gardiz Substation is located in Gardiz city Paktya Province.) ( The Gardiz Substation is going to be built in 4000m2 area, the mentioned are selected to cover all future expansions and allow DABS to implement its future plans in the mentioned are)Gardez substation have one 220 kV line bay, 20 kV yard with indoor switchgear, two 20 kV line bays each capable of expansion to 34 MVA, line dead-end structures for connection to four 20 kV distribution lines. One high voltage 220 kV/20 kV 16 MVA transformer. Substation designs include a control building utilizing the OPGW for SCADA/EMS. The control building have DABS industry standard bus, transformers, breakers, and line protection. It has been sized and equipped with panels to allow expansion as indicated for substation line bays.( The Substation is designed and constructedaccording to International standards, it is a fully automaticsubstation and can be controlled from National Load Center via Optical fibers link and SCADA Sysytem)
Gul Bahar substation will serve the area of Gul Bahar and is a junction point for high voltage transmission to other substations located in Panjshir and Kapisa Provinces.
Gul Bahar substation have one 220 kV line bay and two 110 kV line bays. The 220 kV line bay will be used for the connection to the new single circuit transmission system from Charikar Substation. The 110 kV line bays will be used for distribution to a new substation located in Bazarak, Panjshir and an additional 110 kV line bay for distribution to a new substation, located in Nejrab, Kapisa. It has a 20 kV yard with indoor switchgear, connection to two 220 kV/20 kV transformersratedtransformers rated 16 MVA each, and four 20 kV line bays each capable of expansion to 34 MVA. The 20 kV line bays will be designed and installed. It has two 220 kV/110 kV autotransformer for distribution to other substations rated 160 MVA each. Substation designs include a control building utilizing the OPGW for SCADA/EMS. The control building include DABS industry standard bus, transformers, breakers, and line protection. It has been sized and equipped with panels to allow expansion as indicated for substation line bays.( Some changes can be brought as per Gardiz Substation)
